Our Mission 

Dhvani was born from our transformative experience in the YLAC Social Action Incubator 2023. This national competition challenges high school students to develop innovative solutions for pressing social issues within their schools or communities. Designed to deepen students’ understanding of social realities, the Incubator fosters empathy and inspires proactive efforts to address inequalities.

Competing against over 200 teams through three rigorous rounds, Dhvani emerged as the top project, earning 1st place and a funding prize of ₹2 lakh to bring our vision to life.

Dhvani began as a deep commitment to amplify the voices that too often go unheard. Hence the name, which means sound.

We started with a simple yet powerful mission: to create a platform where diverse and underrepresented voices could be shared, valued, and celebrated. But as we’ve grown, so has our vision.

Today, Dhvani is evolving beyond just a space for sharing ideas. While our roots lie in fostering dialogue and creativity, we recognize that true change requires more than conversation. It demands action. That’s why we are expanding our horizons to focus on tangible, real-world impact. We aim to be more than just a platform for expression—we want to be a force for good, actively involved in various fields and with all kinds of people, making a difference where it’s needed most.
